Associate researchers & Special research assistants (long-term effectively) wanted for "Distinguished Young Scholar" Qing Dai's research group

The National Center for Nanoscience and Technology is a directly funded public institution jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education and has full funding with independent legal personality. According to the needs of scientific research work, the research group of "Distinguished Young Scholar" Qing Dai from the Nano Photonics Laboratory intends to recruit urgently the associate researchers and special research assistants. Specific requirements are as follows:

Research Directions:

Nano-scale photoelectric control and device research, electronically controlled light-the construction and performance modulation of novel nanophotonic devices based on graphene plasmons, light controlled electrical-the physical mechanism of light-assisted carbon nanotube field emission, and the design of high-performance X light sources and so on.

Requirements:

Associate Researcher (career establishment):

Have a PhD degree, postdoctoral experience; give priority to who has experience in fund application, student guidance, overseas studying; have related research experience in low-dimensional nano-optical materials and devices (such as metal plasmon, graphene and related two-dimensional nano-materials’ optoelectronic nature, light transmission / detection / modulation devices, field emission electron sources, etc.); interests related to physics or photology is preferred; have independent research ability and good scientific English literacy, have published more than 3 high-level research papers as the first author in a core journal; healthy, work seriously, honest and trustworthy, hardworking, and has good academic ethics and teamwork spirit.

Special Research Assistant:

(1) Requirements 

1. Ph.D. in materials, physics, chemistry and other related majors; have related research experience in low-dimensional nano-optical materials and devices; have independent research ability and good scientific English literacy, have published research papers as the first author in a core journal, give priority to who has experience in fund application.

2. Adhere to research ethics and academic norms, have a positive academic style, honest and trustworthy;

3. Obtaining a Ph.D. within 3 years or fresh graduates are preferred (the basic requirements for the defense of a doctoral dissertation must be met at the time of application);

4. Generally not older than 35 at the time of application;

5. Have outstanding innovative research results, excellent potential for scientific and technological innovation;

6. Post-doctoral researchers after entering the station must transfer their personnel relations to the center and ensure that they are fully engaged in post-doctoral research.

(2) salary and career development:

1. Basic salary is 300,000 RMB / year;

2. Five insurances and one fund are about 150,000 RMB / year;

3. Housing subsidy is 4,000 RMB / month, or provide a postdoctoral apartment;

4. For those selected for the "Special Research Assistant Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences", the center will provide additional 5,000 RMB / month of post subsidy and 200,000 RMB for research funding during the project implementation period, which is mainly used for scientific research and visits;

5. Depending on their working performance, the department in which they work can refer to the floating performance reward method for established employees and give performance rewards; 

6. The contract for special research assistant has a term of 3 years and can be renewed for a period of up to 6 years. At the expiration of the contract, you can apply for the career establishment of the center (including the associate researcher or the "Youth Innovation & Promotion Committee" project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the "100-person plan" project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences).
