On February 17, the 2021 and 2022 Annual Awarding Conference of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation was held in Beijing, and the 2021 and 2022 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Awards were given to 112 outstanding scientists and technologists. Researcher Qing Dai of the National Center for Nanoscience was awarded the 2022 He Liang He Li Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award.

     Qing Dai is a Distinguished Research Fellow of Chinese Academy of Sciences and a PhD supervisor. He was awarded the 15th China Youth Science and Technology Award and the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation. He is mainly engaged in the research of nanomaterials photonic performance modulation and devices, focusing on exploring new paths to achieve efficient optoelectronic interconnections by using surface waves (polarization excitations) of nanomaterials as mediators. In the past five years, he has published more than 30 SCI papers as corresponding author in Science, Nature, Nature Mater, Nature Nano, Nature Photon, and other internationally recognized journals.
