Nanophotonics Young Scientist Symposium Held Successfully in Beijing

With the strong support of Director Minghua Liu of the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, the “Nanophotonics Young Scientist Symposium” organized by Researcher Dai Qing was successfully held in Beijing from 26-28 April, 2016. This symposium aims to provide a high-quality academic exchange platform for young scientists engaged in the field of nanophotonics and promote the cohesion of the discipline and the innovation of the layout, with a view to further enhancing the international competitiveness in this field. This symposium specially invited Academician Jianwei Pan and Academician Shining Zhu to make conference reports and be served as chairman of the symposium, and researcher Dai Qing served as the executive chairman. The contents of the symposium covered the cutting-edge progress of nanophotonics materials, structures, devices, and spectroscopy applications. More than 40 outstanding scholars from different universities and research institutes at home and abroad made conference reports.
